Branding
Creating and developing a brand are vital design skills that Isobel brings to the Consultancy. An impressive example of this work was her role in the logo design and style guide for the 150th of St. Pancras Station.
Illustrated Maps
Drawing and illustration feed her design work. Isobel have been commissioned by various local organisation to create illustrated maps. For Paxton and Whitfield she created a map showing cheese producing areas across the UK. Sometimes the maps are fictional representing actvities in a landscape, that can be used in publications but also on a range of products.The image here is a map created for the National Parks and the links will take you to information on the cheese map.
Packaging and Range Development
Working with food producers in the Heart of England she has developed an expertise in packaging foodstuffs. From seals and hanging cards providing vital information through to tins and bottles where the containers from part of the product and can be kept and reused. When working on The Quilters Guild Licensing progamme she produced pack designs for haberdashery and comestibles.
Illustration
Isobel first worked with the Consultancy as an illustrator work creating design for greetings cards. She has been commissioned to create images for educational text and children’s picture boxes. She has also written and had her own stories and cards published. She has more recently been commissioned to produce bespoke illustration for orgnaisation like Cathedral shops and Glyndebourne Opera House.
