The Spring trade show season seemed to last a full three monthsthei year. Did someone say they were dying out? I enjoyed meeting and speaking to firms across a wide range of markets. I still have a number of inquiries and discussions to follow up on. People seem interested in learning more about the National Parks and Macclesfield’s Silk pattern Book Collections. Many of retail buyers were looking for stock for this summer, but with licensing it will take a little longer for products to be made from initial concepts. I’ll have to check on 2020 events as the lead time was just too short for some requests such as D-Day commemorations.

Maybe I was an April Fool but I took a break and went to the USA. It was great to escape and relax. The limbo if Brexit seems to be effecting everyone. But as with the seasons we all need to plan for the events that will happen and are within in our own planning and control.
